Volunteer with Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan (CCSEM) and Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) to build 50 beds for children in need.
CCSEM is the charitable arm of the Archdiocese of Detroit; and SHP is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood bedlessness. Every bed built is handcrafted and constructed by volunteers willing to donate their time to help children in their community, funded by the generous donations of many.
Join us in this powerful act of mercy and service, helping ensure that no child sleeps on the floor.
Role: cutting, sanding, drilling, assembling, staining, and branding are some of the tasks that will be performed.
