Center for the Works of Mercy

The Center for the Works of Mercy in Detroit is a place of hope, healing, and service, offering a compassionate response to those in need through collaboration and community. In addition to the services provided directly by Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan, we are proud to host a number of dedicated partner agencies that serve onsite, each bringing their expertise and commitment to helping individuals and families in our community.

We aim to embody Christ's love and compassion by serving and uplifting our vulnerable neighbors. We offer a range of programs, including the Mercy Food Pantry and the Mercy Clothing Closet, designed to provide essential support in food, groceries, clothing, and more. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
