About the role
Are you passionate about education and looking to make a difference from the comfort of your own home? We are seeking dedicated volunteers to serve as virtual tutors for bilingual elementary school students. Many of our learners benefit from extra academic support and encouragement outside the classroom. As a virtual tutor, you will play a key role in helping students gain confidence, strengthen core skills, and enjoy the learning process.
You would make a great virtual tutor if you
- Are patient, friendly, and enjoy helping children learn.
- Believe in equal educational opportunities for every child.
- Like using creative and flexible approaches to support students.
- Can commit to consistent weekly online sessions.
- Are comfortable using Zoom or willing to learn.
- Complete a background check (if you are 18+).
