Role Objective: Provide personalized support to job seekers by reviewing their employment profiles to identify their career goals, understand their previous experience, and connect them with the most appropriate resources based on their needs.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct one-on-one interviews or orientation sessions to learn about participants’ work history and career objectives. Assess the type of support needed, such as job readiness preparation, employment referrals, workshops, résumé development, or interview coaching. Offer recommendations on how to improve their professional profile and presentation. Refer participants to additional available services that match their background and goals. Maintain professional, empathetic, and confidential communication at all times. Preferred Qualifications:
Strong listening and communication skills. Basic understanding of job search processes and employment resources. Commitment to providing respectful, goal-oriented support.

We will need volunteers to help collect information, direct traffic, and place boxes and groceries into trunks. It is important that you wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. Be mindful of the weather conditions as you will be outside. Consider bringing work gloves. This opportunity will occur from 8:45AM -11:00 Am at the Casa Amiga Office 76 Williams St, Pontiac 48341. Minimum 14 years old,  Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Time Commitment: 3hrs per week, with some options to work every other week
